WhatsApp is currently working on a support feature that will enable users be able to listen to their voice notes before sending them. Currently, WhatsApp users can only record and send their voice notes and do not have the opportunity of listening to them before sending but this is about to change; sending voice messages are about to get not only easier as this feature will take out the process of having to delete a recorded message and re-record, they will also bring an end to the annoyance of deleting voice notes and having to start all over again.

WABetaInfo, the trusted online platform that provide WhatsApp users with latest developments and features about WhatsApp announced that WhatsApp is already working on this feature that will allow users to listen to their voice messages before sending them. WhatsApp is all about making instant messaging easy and smart. Not too long ago, WhatsApp added a feature that allow users to lock voice notes while recording, this way users do not have to long-press or hold the record icon for so long. Now WhatsApp is introducing the ability to listen to voice messages before sending them which is smart and useful.

WABetaInfo shared a screenshot of what this feature will look like. WhatsApp is adding a “Review” button next to the “Send” icon. The review button will appear once a voice note has been recorded, and will allow users to listen to what they have recorded.

According to WABetaInfo, this feature is already available for beta users and is expected to be available as a new update for all WhatsApp users soon. WABetaInfo also reported last week that WhatsApp has started rolling out support for different playback speeds for voice messages to Android beta users of the app. This feature is also expected to be launched for iOS users soon enough, and eventually every WhatsApp user.

With the benefits that this new development promises to bring, WhatsApp users can hardly wait for the big reveal. While WhatsApp users wait for this new update, WhatsApp is going to update its new privacy policy this month.
