On Friday, Microsoft released a more recent and an updated version of the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build to the Beta and Development Channels. A significantly different version of the Windows 11 preview build is now available. For simple interactions, it adds Ask Copilot to the taskbar, providing one-click access to Copilot Voice and Vision. A preview of a new Shared Audio feature has also been started by the firm. This enables two devices to share the audio stream and play it simultaneously. The full-screen experience (FSE) is now available on additional portable gaming PCs thanks to the most recent Windows 11 Insider Preview Build.
Microsoft said in a blog post that it is releasing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26220.7051 (KB5067115) to the Dev and Beta Channels. The update includes bug fixes and speed enhancements, but the Ask Copilot function’s taskbar integration is still its core feature.
Dev Insiders have the chance to switch to the Beta Channel without having to reinstall the operating system. Dev builds may become less reliable after a short while when they migrate to greater numbers.
The new features in build 26220.7051 include the Ask Copilot feature on the taskbar (which Microsoft recently announced), full-screen gaming for more handheld consoles, shared Bluetooth audio so you can play music on multiple headphones, various fixes, and improvements to File Explorer’s performance.

The tech giant with headquarters in Redmond claims that it is an opt-in experience that provides instant access to Copilot Voice and Vision. They can communicate with Copilot Vision via voice, text, and guided assistance. To activate this feature, users of Windows 11 can go to Settings > Taskbar > Personalisation > Ask Copilot.
The company highlighted that Ask Copilot does not have access to the user’s personal content and instead uses the Windows APIs that are already in place to retrieve apps, files, and settings.
Copilot becomes an organic part of your computer usage with the new Ask Copilot in the taskbar, ready to assist, mentor, and work with you when you need it.
You can access Copilot Voice and Vision with only one click thanks to this opt-in experience, which makes it possible to engage more naturally when in flow. Whether you choose to communicate via speech, text, or Copilot Vision’s guided support, you can do so however you see fit. You always have the upper hand. Results display and update instantaneously as you enter, making it simpler than ever to locate what you’re looking for.
When the Asus ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X were released, Microsoft unveiled a brand-new full-screen experience (FSE). Other portable gaming PCs running Windows 11 are now getting the same experience from the company. Better task switching, enhanced performance, and responsive gameplay are its stated benefits. In the upcoming months, the preview will be extended to more OEMs after first being released to MSI Claw models.
Shared audio is an additional feature included in the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build. It is a new addition that is said to have been constructed with Copilot+ PCs’ Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Audio broadcast technology. According to Microsoft, two people can share audio content at once.
User may utilise this function by going to the Shared Audio (Preview) tile in quick settings, choosing the two connected and supported accessories, and then choosing Share.
User also may continue using Search as user always have from Start while experimenting with this new experience thanks to Ask Copilot in the taskbar, which enhances the well-known Windows Search experience.
Like Windows Search, Ask Copilot does not provide Copilot access to your personal stuff; instead, it uses the built-in Windows APIs to retrieve apps, files, and settings. You can read more about Microsoft Copilot’s privacy and control choices here.
