The answer to questions like “what will Apple dub the next model of its smartphone?” is revealed by its supply-chain report. While other rumours have purportedly believed the 2021 iPhones will carry the thirteenth mark — and this supply-chain report happens to confirm these claims.

Tech companies such as Apple,  Windows, Google, etc. usually release annual updates of their service products — in terms of naming the newly released product,  they usually continue dialling up the serial codename. For contrast, the current iPhone model is called “iPhone 12,” while the previous is called “iPhone 11.”

While other rumoured suggestions have gravely contradicted this concept believing this year’s iPhone model will be called “iPhone S” since the current model stopped at “iPhone 12 S” which depicts the name iPhone 13 is likely to get skipped just like they previously did with the likes of Macs and iPods.

Still, the iPhone maker can unpredictably release this year’s model as iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 S. — Apple is capable of dubbing this year’s model “iPhone” as the id of its smartphone. “Apple’s new iPhone this year has entered the countdown stage of stocking, and the supply chain has reported that this year’s model will be named iPhone 13.”

Accordingly, both Foxconn and Pegatron will be primarily involved with Apple’s iPhone 13 — while Pegatron builds iPhone 13 mini, Foxconn will continue to assemble this device in line with the expected bulk of orders on this smartphone.

Note that this device is expected to roll out this year, which does not determine its availability for commercial use will be immediate. Still, concerned users have reportedly questioned the tech company about the timing for the availability of the product.

According to the previously released iPhones as iPhone 5 & 8 had specifics on the release date and the availability date for users to commercialize. Things changed when iPhone X rolled out, and ever since, Apple has been uncertain about its availability updates.

“The supply chain reports that this year’s new iPhone will return to the situation announced in September of the previous year. The assembler will start shipping in the third quarter,  and the peak of the pull will fall in the fourth quarter.”

iPhone 13 is likely to hit the market in September, although Apple’s information seems vague — the iPhone maker intends to have enough of this device in stock for ease marketing.
