By integrating facial biometric technology into its FirstMobile mobile banking software, FirstBank of Nigeria has enabled users to easily enroll and activate their devices without requiring a debit card.

During registration and onboarding, users can use the advanced facial recognition to validate their real identity thanks to the facial biometric update.

Through facial verification, customers can safely activate or register on FirstBank’s mobile app, FirstMobile, thanks to the new facial biometric feature. To further improve customer account safety and guarantee strong security, this feature also includes anti-spoofing detection, which adds an additional degree of protection by guaranteeing that fraudulent access or impersonation attempts are successfully prevented.
