Samsung Electronics has introduced a high-end device, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo, into the Kenyan market.

The Galaxy Note 3 Neo retails at KES 51,999 across all Samsung Brandshops and authorized dealer shops. The device comes with an offer of 500 Free Airtime and 1.5 GB free data from Safaricom.

This device aims to satisfy the growing demand for dual-sim phones amongst Kenyan consumers. With a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo smoothly runs multiple applications simultaneously.

The gadget provides 16GB internal storage, a 64GB MicroSD slot, and a durable 3,100mAh battery. Additionally, it is equipped with a dual camera (8MP rear+ 2MP front).

Mr. Robert Ngeru, the Vice President of Samsung Electronics East and Central Africa, stated that the Galaxy Note 3 Neo’s launch is the product of massive investments in research and development to meet customers’ needs for superior mobile devices. He remarked:

“We found that our premium customers prefer multi-sim smartphones to cater to Kenya’s numerous mobile networks. They need versatile mobile devices that keep them connected to their employment, family, and friends. Many prefer using two sim cards to separate their social and professional lives. This addition to our Note Series is our tactic to provide consumers with convenience while still offering premium features.”

Mr. Ngeru introduced an SMS-based e-warranty platform, allowing customers to validate the originality of Samsung mobile products and register for a warranty. To verify their Samsung device, customers are advised to send an SMS to 22585 in the following format: Reg*IMEI number # (example: Reg*359475637282445#).

Equipped with Samsung’s S Pen stylus, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo operates on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It offers a variety of software features like Air Command Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Writer, S Finder, Pen Window, S Note, Multi Window, new Easy Clip, and Direct Pen Input, in addition to all the numerous features available on the Galaxy Note 3.
