We have now learned that what used to be called Project Spartan has now evolved into what Microsoft is now calling Microsoft Edge. In case you’re still wondering what we’re talking about here, well it’s the new browser which Microsoft has now said you will see in the soon to be launched Windows 10 come July. Microsoft released a video to demonstrate this to you.

This new browser will be default browser for Windows 10. Users and developers alike have been promised better features like annotation on web pages, Cortana integration among other features.

It’s now going to be easier for developers to take their Firefox add-ons and Chrome extensions and import them in Microsoft Edge. Sure there will be changes to be made when doing this but it’s going to smaller than what they were used to.
