Updates for Tesla to include Fart Prank and an Apple Watch App

An Apple Watch app has been unveiled by Tesla, and it is anticipated to launch by the following week.

Activating climate control, opening the trunk or the frunk, displaying the battery level, and acting as a key are just a few of the features that the Tesla app for the Apple Watch will offer.

Other features that were identified are eight minor updates and eight major updates that Tesla released along with the app. These include setting a preferred battery level for when you get to your location, creating personalized Cybertruck wraps and license plates, and watching Dashcam and Sentry Mode video straight from the Tesla smartphone app and saving them to your phone for editing or sharing.

Tesla revealed its holiday update over the air, which included a ton of new features and enhancements. The most significant update may be an Apple Watch app that allows you to operate several Tesla functions with your watch. For example, an Apple Watch can be used as a key, to unlock the frunk, to set a temperature, and to see the battery level of the car.

The ability to trick your pals by making a whoopie cushion fart sound anytime they sit in the passenger seat, however, is arguably the most significant Tesla improvement.

Many people will probably find the upgraded Apple Watch beneficial, but the “fart on contact” feature will also probably be used occasionally. Any seat can be configured to “fart on contact,” meaning that when someone sits on it, a fart sound will be played. In addition to having “fart on demand” and “fart on turn signal” settings, this digital whoopee cushion is Tesla’s third fart function.

Tesla also has unveiled a number of other new features. All the information is in a post on X. A new cross-traffic alert while in reverse, the option to select a preferred battery level when you reach your destination, and Cybertruck’s “Santa Mode” that transforms your car’s avatar into a sleigh are some of the noteworthy additions.

Here is a summary of all the contents, as stated by Tesla:

  1. Make use of your Apple Watch as a key for your phone. Tesla, good usage of the Apple Watch Ultra.
  2. Access features including climate control, frunk opening, and battery status.
  3. The Tesla app allows you to view, store, edit, and share Dashcam and Sentry Mode footage.
  4. Automatically transition between Drive and Reverse for multipoint turns and parking. The updated Model 3 now has the yoke steering wheel functionality that was initially seen on the Model S and Model X.
  5. Cybertruck, Model 3, and Model Y vehicles can now use it.
  6. Once you get to your destination, customize the battery charge level you want.
  7. Use the expected detour times to filter search results along your route.
  8. Check for the weather and precipitation at your destination in real time. This weather overlay is really awesome.
  9. When reversing, use audio alerts to identify any pedestrians or cars crossing behind the vehicle.
  10. Use pre-installed wraps to personalize your Cybertruck avatar, or use USB to upload your own graphics.
  11. Take use of a larger camera feed with pinch-to-zoom capabilities.
  12. Improved performance that doesn’t require any setup and is totally free.
  13. While traveling, passengers in the backseat can play games.
  14. Make your Cybertruck avatar into a Santa sleigh complete with elves, reindeer, and other animals.
  15. Light Shows, including the two new shows included in this version, can be remotely scheduled.
  16. Boomerangs are used to slice and dice in this fast-paced party game.
  17. A fun trick feature that, when a seat is detected, plays sound effects. Your mother will not like this.
  18. Adjust the second-row and empty passenger seats with the touchscreen.
  19. Maintenance tasks can be tracked and viewed directly on the car’s touchscreen.

Other minor updates included are;

  1. Drive mode now includes controls for rear screen video playback.
  2. To cut down on distractions, the music level automatically decreases when reversing.
  3. Locate parking spaces close to your destination or other attractions.
  4. During navigation, dynamic rerouting is used to avoid closed roads.
  5. When a door handle is pushed, Sentry Mode notifies a mobile device.
  6. Enhanced capabilities of the Energy App for Cybertruck, X, and Model S.
  7. Vehicles without premium connectivity now have access to traffic visibility.
  8. Upon arrival, supercharger notifications alert you to any stalls that are not operational.
