TechBooky documented significant reports about Microsoft and the software company’s founder, Bill Gates commitment to support the Nigerian digital landscape with resourceful emerging technology that got Arnergy and Flutterwave as initial beneficiaries after the philanthropist touched down in the country. Moving forward, MTN Nigeria (MTNN) and Microsoft report their partnership committed to transforming the Nigerian telecom landscape with cloud computing technology to seamlessly manage digitized business operations in the country.

MTNN Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Lynda Saint-Nwafor, reported her office’s consent to partner with the software giant to access Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure that allows users on the telecom network to seamlessly roam across the world via MTNN without the location restrictions enclosed by border boundaries which are powered by a virtual telecommunication system.

“Cloud has become the backbone of modern business operations revolutionizing the way we store, process, and analyze data, the way we collaborate across teams, and the way we deliver value to customers.” Saint-Nwafor said the telecom service has an “extensive network infrastructure as MTN, combined with Microsoft’s cutting-edge technologies, will provide a robust foundation for businesses’ digital acceleration needs and initiatives.”

MTNN’s co-signed partnership with the software giant denotes that the telecom juggernaut does not want to be left out but rather frontier the cloud-based technology innovation via a fashionable partnership with the Caucasian software organization. The telecom service provider intends to innovate its brand of technology to be virtually responsive to telecommunications networks and transition from mast based network to a satellite-based network.

MTNN is keen on joining the trend that the Nigerian Communication Commission led in the country by licensing a score of Mobile virtual network operators that sprung reactions about the league of virtual network operators powered by satellite being able to rival the like of MTN, Airtel, GLO, and 9mobile that powers the network via mast and cabled network operation.

However, MTNN manager & Ghana, Ola Williams also commented about the Cloud computing innovation they co-signed with Microsoft to leverage satellite-based mobile network operations to alter its mobile network status in West Africa.

Williams illustrated the partnership he had with the software giant by “discussing technologies that enable a transformational shift, one of the key things to discuss is the cloud, which provides a flexible and agile way for organizations to embrace technology. Businesses need to be deliberate about how they incorporate cloud computing into their operations, and that is why it is always very beneficial when it is taken as a journey with the right partners.”

The partnership MTN co-signed with Microsoft has prioritized its commitments as a world-class technology leader that can bring high-end technology innovation to Africa via extensive experience and support leveraged by the Caucasian software giant committed to frontier the telecom service to cloud-based technology incorporation.
