The Recent Facebook Outage also Affected Instagram But Not WhatsApp

…Facebook and Instagram are down — it depicts the tech giant’s weakness.

Facebook and its subsidiary social media, Instagram lost its server connectivity on Thursday — the entirety of their users could not socialize on the network due to the global outage the Mark Zuckerberg’s company encountered.

According to DownDetector, both Facebook and Instagram users reportedly complained about the outage disrupting their presence online. The outage started at exactly 5:30 PM ET, cutting off billions of users in a blink whereas DownDetector welcomed several opinions about the unexpected temporary lost server connection.

In less than a month, Facebook is experiencing the second outage which appears to be bad for business. The social media giant and its services lost connection on March 19th whereby Facebook was offline for hours — questions were aroused to determine the vulnerabilities of the social media’s network in which Facebook is yet to give a viable response to its user-base.

Nonetheless, after the temporary outage was yet to be resolved, the social media giant returned with a flimsy excuse obliquely explained the matter with an error message that displayed — “sorry something went wrong.”

Meanwhile, several media houses have requested an audience from Facebook to explain why the outage has been concurrent. Still, Facebook is yet to respond to comment on these questions and interviews — it would be better if the tech giant assures its users the exact timing the social network will be back online.

The famous app specialist or developer, Jane Wong confirmed that Facebook’s internal website is also affected by the outage. The tweet she shared highlighted the social media’s outage dashboard is also affected by the outage.

Afterward, towards the evening at 4 PM ET, Facebook and Instagram gradually restored their connectivity online whereby only a few users could access its network. In the wake of the outage, the Facebook status page still reflects like it was not affected.

According to a tech specialist that took note of the data breach Facebook encountered a few days ago — this calls for in-depth scrutiny to identify loopholes utilized by anonymous perpetrators aiming to steal user information or possibly tarnish the tech giant’s status quo as number one amongst others in the industry.
