At today’s MWC Shanghai showcase, ZTE lifted the curtain on an ambitious portfolio of AI-enabled network and device innovations, reinforcing its vision of “AI for All.” The company’s “Catalysing Intelligent Innovation” theme brought into sharp focus how its full-stack solutions—from edge networks to consumer terminals—are co‑creating an intelligent ecosystem.
The spotlight started with AI-native network infrastructure as ZTE introduced a full-scenario coverage solution featuring uplink three-component-carrier aggregation and niche-tailored MiCell and qNCR products—boosting signal strength in elevators, underground parking, and other challenging environments . Its pioneering integrated low-altitude solution supports aerial networks, already live across more than 100 commercial and pilot deployments. With SAGIN (Space-Air-Ground Integrated Network) tech, ZTE extended connectivity upward—leveraging ATG and NTN standards toward a more open wireless ecosystem .
Underpinning these edge innovations are AI-optical campus solutions, AIR RAN and AIR Net, and eco-friendly SuperPOD AI servers and 800G switches powering autonomous telecom operations. Crucially, ZTE’s green compute design—rollout-ready across its massive base station footprint—has slashed carbon emissions by 6 million tons annually. This emphasis on sustainability reinforces its long-term, value-driven intelligence architecture.
But ZTE didn’t stop at network. Its AI-powered terminals and ecosystem devices pulled focus: the ZTE AI Home platform featuring smart Wi‑Fi‑7 routers, FTTR services, flexible screens, cloud‑PC functions and even companion robots built to engage each family member. Its RedMagic gaming phones and nubia Neo 3 series posed as exemplar mobile experiences, blending ACG culture, AI companions, and arena-style demos right on the show floor.
On the enterprise side, AiCube all-in-one units are already deployed in education, healthcare, automotive design and municipal safety, enabling precision diagnostics and AI‑assisted learning. Industrial clients like ports and metros are using ZTE’s visual AI, foundational models, and orchestration platforms to expedite productivity and analytics across verticals.
ZTE’s vision today underscores an evolution in tech strategy: infrastructure intelligence meets human-facing innovation. From AI-core networks that sense, adapt, and self-optimize, to devices that respond to user emotion and daily behaviour, ZTE is mapping a future where AI blooms at every layer—network, home, workstation, community—in a unified, low-carbon ecosystem.
