82-Year-Old Female Aviator To Accompany Jeff Bezos To Space

This is the case of 82-year Wally Funk who will make history as the oldest person in space as she joins Jeff Bezos on the first ever crewed spaceflight.

In a declaration that elicited nostalgia, Bezos Company, the Blue Origin announced the air expedition in a statement on Thursday.

Wally Funk, who was unlucky 60 years ago as gender discrimination prevented from being allowed on board in the Mercury 13 space trip in 1960 will now have her day with one of the world richest men.

The  trip which is to begin July 20 will cruise the New Shepard Launch Vehicle will have Jeff Bezos, Mark Bezos his brother, Wally Funk and one other unnamed auction winner on board is set to be one of its type in the new millennium.

Funk, the first female inspector of the National Transportation Safety Board, alongside the Bezos brothers will have her day with the another lucky person who had paid $28 million to auction himself for the trip.

The New Shepard’s trip, which is scheduled to take just 10 minutes will begin its journey from a desert in western Texas, will have Jeff, Mark, Funk and the unnamed traveler above the Karman line, the distinction between the Earth’s atmosphere and Space.

Jeff Benzos Blue Origin will have its first ever crewed flight, had been basking in private space exploration competition with SpaceX owned by Elon Musk and Virgin Galactic of Richard Branson and this space trip should hence be a catalyst to propel it above them.
